CURRENT RESIDENCE: Bettendorf, IA

OCCUPATION: Band Director at Pleasant Valley High School

GREATEST LIFE EXPERIENCE: The birth of my two children (Gabriel and Jacqueline)

STRANGEST LIFE EXPERIENCE:  My son Gabriel was born 11 week premature (2 lbs 6 oz.) He spent 6 weeks in the hospital - he is doing great now!

GREATEST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Seeing my students graduate from PV, go to college as music majors, then begin lives as music teachers themselves

STRANGEST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: When a tuba player got his finger stuck in the strap ring of a tuba. The shop teacher (and all his students) had to come cut it off [the ring]. Then he went to the hospital to have the ring taken off.

UNI TRUMPET STUDIO MEMORIES: When my Yamaha trumpet (the only Yamaha in the room) was voted best sounding trumpet in the studio by all the trumpet majors, through blind play testing - beating even Dr. Grabowski's and everyone else's Bach trumpets
