They're such great people, and it's fun watching them grow into their own, being able to converse with them, hearing their thoughts on things STRANGEST LIFE EXPERIENCE: Traveling to Colorado over spring break to be in a friend's wedding, then having an emergency appendectomy surgery in Colorado Springs and staying in the hospital for 9 days because of complications! Missed the wedding. :( GREATEST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Playing "Stars and Stripes Forever" with the Eastern Iowa Brass Band in Washington DC on the 4th of July UNI TRUMPET STUDIO MEMORIES: I remember that it was EARLY (I'm still not a morning person) . . . it was fun putting together a song by building off the 2 measures the person before you improvised . . . the binders (Trumpet Notebook) were great - had everything spelled out for you as far as warm ups, cool downs, etc. |
