CURRENT RESIDENCE: San Francisco, CA

OCCUPATION: Professional musician and student

GREATEST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: I really enjoyed playing The Planets with the Waterloo Cedar Falls Symphony. I love the piece and it was one of my first experiences playing with a professional orchestra. The artwork and video that had been prepared by Gary Kelley was really cool, and it added another level of depth to the piece - I had a great time!

STRANGEST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: I have a few...

1) A five hour trumpet trio gig on New Years Eve - A chop killer, plus I don't think there are five hours of trumpet trio repertoire!

2) The Adventureland Band! Playing Chameleon non-stop while wearing an afro wig in 90 degree weather is bound to be interesting. Add Noah Alvarado into the mix and well... enough said. (Hey Noah!... Chameleon 4 life!!)

3) Trumpet free-jazz duets in front of Walgreens at 3 am

UNI TRUMPET STUDIO MEMORIES: There was a great feeling of camaraderie in the trumpet studio when I came to UNI. I have never had such a great time playing and hanging out with a group of trumpet players!!!
