STRANGEST LIFE EXPERIENCE: Playing electric flugelhorn for Professor Heelan High (a beauty/talent competition for teachers at the school where I teach.) Note: I knocked down a double G at the end of my final cadenza and nearly blacked out. Also note: I won!

STRANGEST PROFESSIONAL EXPERIENCE: Accidentally throwing my baton in the air, having it ricochet off a light and into my euphonium player's bell in a rehearsal.
